Fair Haven Boat Detail offers a variety of cleaning and detailing services to boat and yacht owners all over the Jersey Shore. Our services are offered weekly, biweekly, or monthly. We are happy to customize a maintenance package to meet your specific needs.

​Some of our services include:

  •  Wash-downs- Available on a weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly service. We wash all exterior surfaces with a PH balanced soap that won’t strip away any wax, then we shammy dry everything.
  • Waxing / Polishing / Compounding- we will evaluate the condition of the gel coat and amount of oxidation and use the perfect blend of compounds and waxes to get your boat back to a showroom finish
  • Teak Refinishing- From full sanding and re-caulking to replacing plugs to oiling, sealing or varnishing, we can truly transform old weathered teak into looking brand new.
  • Metal Cleaning / Polishing – We will remove any minor rust or scratches and then add a special protectant to repel salt and bird droppings.
  • Vinyl Cleaning / Conditioning – A customer favorite! We will deep clean the vinyl, getting rid of mold, sunscreen, bird droppings, etc to get the true color back. Then condition and treat the Vinyl to keep it from drying out and add a UV protectant.
  • Isinglass Cleaning / Polishing – We will clean and polish any isinglass to remove minor scratches and yellowing and add a protective coat when we finish.
  • Ceramic Coating- Once the gelcoat or paint is polished out and free of imperfections, it is time to seal the work. The best method for this is using a ceramic coating. this means using nanotechnology based sealants to deliver incredible durability and protections from salt, dirt, stains, and UV. Ceramic coatings can be used on almost all marine surfaces such as paint, gelcoat, aluminum, stainless, leather, glass, etc. the ceramic coatings we use are proven to last 3+ years with very little maintenance.
  • Engine room / Bilge cleaning- We will completely clean and degrease your engine room or bilge and wax where needed.
  • Pre-sale Detail- We have talked to numerous brokers who all agree that a boat will sell much faster if it is professionally detailed and immaculate for every showing. We recommend that the boat or yacht is completely detailed when it is first listed. We also work with brokers and sellers to schedule quick wash-downs or touch ups right before each showing.
  • Spring Detail- We will wax or compound your hull before you’re splashed for the season. Then detail the whole topside, thoroughly clean out all boxes and hatches, and hard to reach areas before gear and provisions are brought onboard for the season.
  • Fall Detail- We will thoroughly wash the boat and will put a preservation coat of wax along the hull and/or anywhere uncovered by shrikwrap. This wax will dry to a haze and will not be buffed off until the spring in order to protect against the winter elements. Additionally it is usually a good idea to power wash and/ or acid wash the hull below the waterline prior to storage.
  • Jetski / Tender Detailing- We offer a variety of services for jet skis and tenders whether they are onboard the yacht or kept on the dock.
  • Interior Detailing- We will help you maintain the interior of your boat or yacht. Whether it be dusting the blinds, polishing the head or vacuuming the carpet we will cater to your needs.
  • Acid Wash- We will use a biodegradable specially formed acid that will get rid of tough stains, rust, and scum lines.
  • Bottom Painting- Bottom painting should be done every year and is vital to the prevention of marine growth. We have the tools and expertise to perform all necessary services whether it's retouching bottom paint, or a full media blast and applying a barrier coating.
  • Propspeed- Keep your running gear and other underwater metals free from marine growth and protected against corrosion with the industry leading foul release coating
